Tuileries Garden

Paris, France

The Tuileries Garden stretches out just west of the Louvre, where the royal Tuileries Palace once stood. Today, this grand green space gives Parisians and visitors a place to relax in the heart of the city. Wide walkways, rows of trees, and symmetrical flowerbeds shape the gardens into a classic yet welcoming setting.

Art, Leisure, and Parisian Life

The Tuileries Garden is famous for more than its refined landscaping. Scattered throughout the grounds, visitors discover an outdoor gallery displaying modern sculptures. Alongside art, the gardens invite guests to savor simple pleasures with cafés, ice cream stands, and crépe stalls dotting the paths.

During summer, lively fairs fill the gardens with music, laughter, and bright lights. A giant Ferris wheel often rises near the center, offering sweeping views of Paris. Two important museums, the Musée de l’Orangerie and the Jeu de Paume, sit within the garden’s borders, drawing art lovers from around the world.
